IEXPLORE caused invalild page fault???

When I try to access Internet Explorer I get the following
message and I then am forced to exit the program.

IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module STMAIN.DLL at 0167:0295110b.

First check that you don't have any spyware or other malware. They are most
common reason for these errors (perhaps even over 80%). Other reasons are
buggy display drivers. Try to locate that file STMAIN.DLL. The check file
properties and version information for that. If that's display driver file,
try to get newer (or older) version of suitable display drivers. If you
cannot find any version information for that file, then it could be spyware.
Most DLL files has version information, which tells what for the file is and
who has built it. Of course, spyware coders don't want put that information
there.
