IEradicator 2001-anyone used it?

Am getting nowhere with sorting out ie6 on W98 - keeps asking to "Send
error Report" and then closing down during a browsing session. Have
downloaded updated Spybot/Adaware/CWShredder to no avail. Have now
downloaded Netscape 7.1 working fine. Want to uninstall ie6 (perhaps
to clean re-install) but refused 'cos "uninstall files corrupted"!
Have found this little prog "IEradicator 2001" - looks ok but wondered
if anyone can advise on it?. Thanks!

First try a repair of IE.
Add/Remove Programs/MS/IE repair...

Check this Java setting.
Tools/internet options/advanced/Microsoft VM
....only tick the JIT compiler box and leave the Java boxes un checked
(default)

Have not used IEradicator some have had success others recommend against it.
