IEHooker virus...

I recieved a message from Microsoft telling me that I have this virus in my computer ....this was given to me during a shut down due to an error message....in their explanation they told me I had this virus. Can you tell me about this virus and how I can get rid of it. IT seems to making my computer go slow go to another site all the time. My virus software does not seem to find it. Thanks for you time....but I am confused. Is there an easy way to get rid of it?

hmm the one from pestpatrol looks pretty hard...I will try the ones from spyware....
