IEEE 1394 Deleted from System Folder

Accidentially deleted the IEEE 1394 (firewire) entry from
the network connections system folder...how to recover
that entry in the folder..remove and reinstall of hdwr
does no good...Device Code 10 always. Suggestions welcome
 
Hi,

Boot in safe mode and login as administrator.
Go to device manager and uninstall the IEEE1394 adapter then reboot.
windows should found new hardware and reinstall the proper drivers (assuming
you have installed SP1 or SP2)
