IE8 RSS Feeds

My RSS feeds are not updating automatically in IE8. The only way I can
update each feed is to click the "refresh arrows" to the right of the feed.
Can someone tell me what is going on here? They were updating automatically
when I had IE7 installed but when I downloaded and installed IE8 I
experienced this on going problem.

Hi,

Within IE8, goto Tools -> Internet Options -> Content and then at the bottom
of the screen, in the 'Feeds' section, click on 'Settings'. Check you have
them automatically downloading etc...

Once you have done that, on your feeds within IE, right click and check that
they're using the 'Default Settings' for downloading etc...

Hope this helps,
Jon

Those with IE7- and/or IE8-specific questions or comments can post to and
seek support in IE General newsgroup:
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

On the web:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In your newsreader:

Those with IE8-specific questions or comments can also post in IE Beta
newsgroup for now: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta

On the web:

John: Thanks for your reply. My settings were as you advised. I'm getting
the following message at the top of each feed (in a yellow rectangular box):
Internet Explorer was unable to update this feed and will try again later.
Yet, when I "click" on each "refresh" arrow the feed updates itself. I'm
really perplexed at this point.
