IE7 unknown publisher?

When I launch IE7 from Vista, I get "An unidentified program wants access to
your computer: ieexlplorer.exe." "Unidentified publisher." I find this hard
to believe. I can click on Allow and go on my way, but it does seem a little
strange that a MSFT program does not recognize MSFT as a legitimate publisher.

ieexlplorer.exe?
Sounds very suspicious to me.

The internet explorer executable is called iexplore.exe, and it's signed
by Microsoft.

MALWARE or VIRUS. It's some sort of malware. It could be adware .. but ther
is also a trojan that runs as ieexplorer.exe.

P.S. Beware of some of the *removal* programs .. they are malware too.

Alun, saucy, et al, fat-finger problem. The error message does indeed say
"iexplorer.exe," ...the extra "e" was my mistake in posting.

If I have malware, OneCare live is not doing its job.
