ie7 not maximized

When I open ie7 it always opens half size and not maximized. How do I
correct this please.

Drag the window to the correct size, do NOT use the "maximize" button....
 
Right click the shortcut, properties, shortcut tab and in the Run box,
select maximized. When IE is started by clicking on a link, with only one
window open, use a left click to drag the sides of the window out to the
sides of the screen. Then hold down the Ctrl button while clicking the X in
the corner to close the window.
