ie6sp1 and win98se

I have encountered 2 problems since having ie6sp1 for the
last 2 days. In fullscreen mode, I ALWAYS get an error
message that IE has to close because of an unexpected
error. (Error info - appname:iexplorer.exe
appver:6.0.2800.1106 modname:comctl32.dll
modver:5.81.4916.400 offset:0003862b ). Also, if I try
to open my history and use it, 1)the status bar says that
the page is loading(-ed), 2)History pane will not close, 3)
cannot move from IE window to others that may be open,
though the pc does not hang/freeze, just the apps. I cans
till close IE and restart. Only remedy for it so far.
Any thoughts on either of these?

I have also W98se and my version of comctl32.dll is 5.50.4916.400
did you download an ohter program
Use "SFC"for correction
