IE6

I am having a problem with IE 6 on my laptop. When I go to
my webmail, I am not able to type my user id or pasword,
Where I am supposed to type my user ID/password, I dont
have a caruser, when I type nothing happents. the same
with any news group or anything. hwo can I fix this.
Please help.
