IE6 works different 98SE/XP Home

Running the same exact version of IE6 on an XP computer
and on another running 98SE. When the XP machine
refreshes IE, it completely resets the page to the top.
When the 98SE machine refreshes IE, it stays at the same
place on the page everytime. Also, there are some
realtime graphics that constantly update on the Win98
machine that don't show up on the XP machine IE when
looking at the exact same webpage. Any ideas?
