IE6 Won't View Webpages

I have had a problem with IE6 for the last few weeks. At
first whatever link i clicked on, it would end up going
elsewhere. i downloaded spybot, adaware and checked my
system for spyware,virus's etc. The system is 'clean',
however now whatever i click on, i get a 404 error(page
cannot be found).
I also have MSN's browser on my system, this is working
perfectly.
How can i get IE6 back working??
 
What IE/OS combination are you using? Have you downloaded any patches
lately?
