IE6 won't print default Portrait

Everytime I use the PRINT icon on the toolbar, the item
prints landscape. I have my printer set at portrait, and
if I use page setup and select protrait, then it will work
that one time. It used to work, but something has it
defaulting to landscape. I know it is a minor
inconvience, but still it should work. how do i get it to
default to wht i set it to. thanks, tom

Go to file Printer Setup and set your properties to Portrait.
Close the applet.
Do not print anything.
Exit out of explorer and reboot.

See if when you return that the settings have been registered.
