IE6 windows don't close

No IE windows will close unless I use CTRL+ALT+DEL.
Everything else about it works fine - pages load, can
change options, etc. I've tried uninstalling all the
updates, which had no effect, then tried adding updates,
which also had no effect. What's up?

It may be due to malware BHO. See:
