IE6 Will Not Launch Trying to Download File /

I am using Windows XP, the computer tries to launch IE6 but in the background
its trying to download file named / which it cannot find. Microsoft Internet
Explorer page opens but its blank. Help, I want my internet back.

Hi,
This is probably being caused by malware (adware, spyware, hijackers, etc.)

You will want to run Ad-aware, Spybot and (if running WinXP) MS Anti-Spyware
(Beta.)

You may have to post a HijackThis log to one of these forums for additional
