IE6 triggers Hardware Malfunction

I get blue screen Hardware Malfunction errors.
This error does not occur whilst running any other
application but frequently occurs when accessing the
internet. The error seems to occur most frequently when
using search functions within websites but also occurs
regularly when attempting to download files. There doesn't
appear to be any consistency i.e. Sometimes I can access a
site without problem and other times the system crashes
out as soon as the site is found.

What does the error say? With out the complete error message we can not
guide you to a solution directly, only give you general solutions. Please
also post you PC's hardware configuration.

One possible solution:

Your PC memory is beginning to be un-reliable and fail cause memory errors.
