I am seeking suggestions on auditing "Vulnerability Demographics

TO Felix Cabugao @ Trend Micro, TWIMC :

The trendmicro.com system currently assesses demographics of virus
outbreaks by region. The Housecall application posts relevant
information to a central database in order to accomplish that task,
thus the previous statement about keeping logs, is NOT altogether
accurate.

A local packet sniffer has detected that private information gathered
from my computer, is being uploaded by the scanning process. How do
you suggest that I capture and audit that data for security policy
compliance purposes?

Subject: Housecall - hcScan.html

ISSUE:

The hcScan.html created by Housecall shows the suspicious files it was
unable to examine, but NOT content of the final report generated by
the scan that lists the infected file path and virus name.

QUESTION:

How do I record the malicious file entries displayed in the scanning
window for further analysis, other than typing the report manually or
saving bitmapped screen captures?

NOTE:

The view the link properties feature, using right mouse click in IE is
DISabled in version 5.70.0 ENG:6.640-1001 P:661, so I can NOT save or
examine the shortcut.

If a temp file contains the window results, I can't find it and I
would prefer NOT sending the details of each vulnerability found on my
system, in clear text, overseas via the internet, using the URL
associated with each pattern that Trend's Housecall has correlated to
my files with my IP address, for obvious reasons.

Why not buy software to run on your network that will do what you wish
rather than using a freebie web-based utility? Centralized antivirus
software is a good thing if you have a network, and I very much like Trend's
OfficeScan.
