I have a problem with IE6. It happens if I have been on the internet for any
length of time. The speed is fine at the start but it becomes slower to
change pages the longer I am on and ends up showing a blank page and says
Done at the bottom left when I go to a different address. If I click on
refresh or type the address again the same thing happens or I get the message
saying site unavailavle at the moment. I have to restart my computer &
everything is fine again. I have Nortons anti virus & nothing has been
detected & I have ad aware & its come up clear. Any ideas?

Hi,
This might just be a cache problem. To clear the IE cache. IE> Tools>
Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up.) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

Since, eventually, you're getting "cannot display" messages, something here
may help: http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers.htm#dns

Or, you may have malware that Ad-aware didn't find. Go to

through the preliminary cleaning steps, then post a HijackThis log to the
