IE6 SP1 some web page links not working

Running XP Prof., SP1. Using IE6 SP1 the web page links
seem to be broke on the following URL:
http://www.shs.d211.org/ForeignLang/foreignLang.html

There are other sites but the above is just an example.

On my Windows 2000 machine the links are fine.
Is there a hotfix for this?

Is it the list of links under Teachers: that is your problem?

Be aware that that list is apparently generated by a Java applet

In fact, while testing to see what was required (using Java Custom Settings...)
I found that in order to see the text on the buttons I had to change
Run Unsigned Content to Run in sandbox (from Disable)
However, the same applet also works under the High Safety default.
