ie6 runtime error

Everytime I start IE, it pops up an error box saying C++
Library error.
program files/internet explorer/iexplorer.exe
Application has asked to be terminated in an unusual way.
I've reverted IE to it's last version and deleted al of it
I could find and reinstalled it. I've even used the XP
disk to try and repair the installation. Nothing works.
I just installed incredimail...could it be conflicting
with outlook? I also just installed the free Netscape
browser...could it be the JAVA that installed with that
app. conflicting with JAVA already on my machine?
please help!

From Internet Options> Advanced, make sure that Java (Sun) and MS VM
(virtual machine) aren't both checked. Best option is usually to uncheck
Java and leave VM.

If not a Java issue, it may be a spyware / parasite issue.
