IE explorer 6.0 re-boots machine when visiting web-sites
that use certain security technology.....I tried loading
the Oct 2003 MS IE 6 patch, but it won't load (says IE 6
SP1 required - when I do have SP1 already loaded)....any
thoughts on both issues ?? Thanks.

You already have the November cuumulative patch, so you don't heed the
October patch. That's what the message should say, but Microsoft insists on
continuing to use that misleading message.

The three links above are about the secure sites problem.
If you have WinXP its default is to reboot instead of showing the blue
screen. You can change that at
Control Panel | Performance and Maintenance | System | Advanced
Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section and uncheck Automatically
Restart.
