IE6 -- not paying attention to css/ background colours.

J

Josh Assing

I have a machine here that is not picking up on background colors from websites;
so, for instance, a page with black background & white text, shows up as plain
white.

I cannot find a setting anywhere to adjust this -- anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Check out, in IE, Tools...Internet Options...General tab, Accessibility
button - uncheck the boxes there.

Hi,

First check... Internet Options> General> Accessibility. For most users,
nothing
should be checked.

Then... Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Display. Again, generally,
nothing should be checked.

Hope this helps,
