IE6 must close---file pdf.ocx

Newbie Running WindowsXP, IE6, SP2

While surfing a website today I received a message that IE must close.
The file was: pdf.ocx

Adobe Acrobat control for ActiveX

What do I need to add/change inorder to view this web page? Thank you for
your help.

There is an answer to this in the Adobe Acrobat knowledge base.
In short the answer is to remove the MSN (or Windows) popup blocker from
the tool bar or to remove the toolbar altogether.
The way to accomplish the first is to click on the Opions button on the
toolbar and uncheck the popup blocker item.

I have done this, but haven't had time to give it a through test, but
can't do any harm.
