IE6 KERNEL ERROR

I just installed IE6 and every time i open the browser i
get this error:
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff7b9a6.

Adding my name to the list. I have been getting the same error for the last
couple of weeks. NO idea why. Have scanned for viruses, run self repair
things, etc. Let me know if you get an answer. Sorry I couldn't be of any
assistance.
