IE6 Hangs and shuts down (818506)

Internet Explorer May Appear to Stop Responding When
Requesting Many Objects 818506

This is the issue were IE stops responding when Explorer
makes too many requests for objects.

I have Windows XP Pro w/Internet Explorer 6. After
searching the Product Support Services, this is the
closest (if not exact) match to the symptoms that I am
experiencing.

In the Support Document, it states that IE 6 SP1
addresses this issue, but I have installed the SP update
with no success in resolving the issue. I have
constatntly cleared the temp files, cache, and history.
Does anyone know the solution or suggestion to this
problem?

I'm using Win98SE and seem to have similar problems.
Hyperlinks often open up new windows which have no
content - so it basically hangs....Typing in the URL
target often works, however....

I'm having the same problem and would be interested in a

reply as well. Good luck...I'll keep searching and let
you know if I succeed.
