IE6 does not redirect

I have IE6 sp2 running under XP-home. Sometimes I get only blank pages and
the reason appears to be that redirect does not work. Examples are
[http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ & http://www.toshiba.com]; both give me
blank pages. It does not matter if I click on a hypertext link or type in the
address. Repair using "sfc /scannow" hasn't helped. Before I updated to this
more secure version things were just fine. I haven't found anything under MS
IE KB or here. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I did find the answer in this newsgroup from Mike Burgess
([email protected]). I think this should fix the other "blank page"
problems. Works for me.
//Internet Options | Security [tab] | Custom Level [button]
Scroll down to: "Allow META REFRESH", set to "Enable", click Ok
