IE6 crashes

Ok im getting kinda of annoyed by this..everytime i go to a certai
site or radomly IE 6 either crashes to the desktop or has the "IE
6 needs to close" message..it kinda just started to do this, a recen
program i installed was the zone labs firewall..maybe this is th
cause...i have windows xp pro, anthlonxp 2000+, 512 ram, 40 gb an
everything updated for drivers..any suggestions how i fix this?

I had the same problem with IE6 closing down at certain sites. I have
been following the recommendations here for awhile. I used Spybot,
Adaware, Hijackthis and followed their recommendations. I deleted the
old IE6 and reloaded it. I even tried a new browser, which helped
access a few more sites. What finally worked, was to download the
latest Java plugin from www.Java.com. Now everything is fine with
IE6.
