IE6 crashes

ie6 has frequent crashes in windows xp. the rest of
system is very stable. firewall intact and no known
virus. any ideas?

Rule out parasites and if still having the problems please post the error
message.

You may not have a virus, but it could be spyware that virus scanners won't
find. down load a spyware detector and see if that helps. if that is not
helping, try to reinstall IE6
