IE6 Cookies Disabled

I have the same problem that many others have been
posting where I cannot log on to sites that require
cookies even though my privacy setting is set to accept
all cookies. I tried the Microsoft knowledge base and
the only advice that is remotely close is to check the
computer's date and time settings, which doesn't fix this
problem. It is so frustrating. Please advise.
