IE6, AOL, McAfee

I need some help. I downloaded a boxed virusscan 7. I
never had a problem connecting to the internet through
AOL. But VS7 requires IE4 or greater. I have IE6 & have
Win XP so there shouldn't be a problem. But, my IE will
not connect to the internet even when AOL is on. I'm
confused. AOL seems incable of helping(lessoned learned),
McAfee can't grasped whats going on. Right now I'm
totally lost. If there is anybody who can help I'd
appreciate it.

Have a good read through VirusScan's Help files. There are several settings
which could be interfering. (I wouldn't allow a McAfee application into my
house, let alone put it on my computer. If all works well without
VirusScan, uninstall it [good luck!] and get your money back. Then get a
good, far less troublesome, and free AV app like AVG.)

hi this mcafee is it the one with firewall too if it is
check the application to make sure, ie is not
block.mcafee needs to have all cookie on and than you set
cookies it in mcafee option.
