IE5.5 shows a blank page

Since recently on many websites certain pages are shown in my IE5.5/w2k as
just a white blank screen. No error signals. (for example, this one
www.fmsrf.ru)
In an old Opera 5 it looks fine)
Is there a technology used on these pages which is not supported by IE5?
Do I need a plugin?
For some reasone I need to keep IE5 on this machine.
PS. the IE5 newsgroup is not available so I post my query here

Just change your Security settings to Default Level
You have disabled META Refresh.

Alternatively, use View Source (Alt-V,c) and look for code such as this:

<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0; URL=html.asp ">

Then modify the URL in your Address bar accordingly.
