IE won't load pages

IE will not open wb pages which are typed in the address
line. I can open pages that appear after a search but not
when I type in the URL???

Any ideas??

With IE open, go to Tools > Options > Advanced. Scroll down to Search. Check
"Just go to the most likely site." Click OK.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
