IE won't display some special characters

On some sites, apostrophes, quote marks, ellipses, and
other special characters either show up as question marks
or as weird combinations like A@°. When I try to use a
character like É (a capital E with an accent mark, if it
doesn't show up) on a site, like my blog, it shows up that
way at first but usually changes to something weird. I'm
fairly sure this is a problem with my computer, because on
others I've used all the text appears normally. Any
ideas? (E-mail response would be preferred, but I'd
appreciate anything.)

Change your View/Encoding to an other setting, see if you can find the
correct one.

If not give us a URL to check.

Worked--thank you! It was on unicode; I checked Auto-
select, which picked Western European, and now I can see
all the special characters.
