When i start windows media player, outlook, ie or something from office then
the program crashes immediately and nothing is opened
only wmplayer gives this error:

wmplayer.exe - applicationerror
The instruction on 0x3700368a points to memory on 0x00000428. The read- or
write-instruction ("read") on memory has failed.

(the error may not be translated entirely correct)

Everythign used to work fine. I already checkjed for spyware with spybot and
did a diskscan, i also redwonlaoded wmplayer and tried to reinstall but it
all didn't work.
I got windows xp prof. Any ideas?

Restore your system to a day or so before the problem started, you
can go back up to 90 days.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

i went to see in my logs and also found some errors:

i recently installed sas and i noticed there is an error in the logs on the
time i installed it:
winmgmt event 60
WMI ADAP was unable to process the performance libraries: 0x80041001

Somwhat later there is the error LoadPerf
3012:
The performance strings in the Performance registry value is corrupted. The
Record Data contains BaseIndex value from Performance registry in DWORD 0,
LastCounter value in DWORD 1, and LastHelp value in DWORD 2.
3011:
Unloading the performance counter strings for service <service> failed. The
Error code is DWORD 0 of the Record Data.

now i uninstalled sas and following errors are in the logs at the time of
uninstall:
error SAS event 2400: no message
LoadPerf 3011 and 3012 again
and also SAS System Setup event 1990: no message
uninstalling didn't help
