IE will not go to hyperlink when clicked

After the recent updates, I noticed that when browsing, IE will not go to
the linked site.
It does not happen all the time. I believe it occurs when the link leaves
the site I'm browsing.

I can copy and paste the link to get to the site. Also, OPEN IN NEW WINDOW
doesn't work either.

Any suggestions?
