IE version

I had downloaded IE 7 but had problems with my scanner so I uninstalled
it(I think). Now, when trying to use a previously functional website, I
get a dialog box re: copying script from clipboard. I have to use
cntrl,alt,delete to exit and tried changing settings..with no luck. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Oh..and how can I be sure
which IE version I do have?

Well I am not sure I can help you totally resolve your issue, but as far as
finding out your current version of IE. Open IE click on help, then about.
That will display your version. Hope that is helpful to you. Happy new year
