IE unable to open. Always shows error

I am unable to open IE at all on my computer as of yesterday...everytime I try openning it, an error box appears saying there was a problem with operation and then I get prompted to send a report. Any idea on how this may be fixed
 
I am getting the same problem. I even tried to go back to an earlier date and still recieve "Internet Explorer has encounted a problem and needs to close. Let me know if anyone has an answer.

I had the same problem with my IE. Try the solution
mentioned in the thread "encountered a problem and has to
shut down" on february 25 12:33PM. It worked for me. Hope
it works for you...
