IE stopping and reopening when trying to open a link to a PDF

When I try to open a pdf online it stops Internet Explorer and reopens it. I
have added Adobe to accepted sites in DEP. I can save as target, but now I
have a site that sends me to url that auto directs me to pdf not giving
chance to save to target. Help me!

Hi,
Try opening PDF files in Adobe Reader instead of Internet Explorer. In Adobe
Reader> Edit> Preferences> Internet> uncheck "Display PDF in browser."

Thanks Don, I never even thought of the reader being the issue because never
had this issue until having Vista on computer. It makes me think of is it
plugged in, Duh. Thanks again. Cindy

You're welcome. Now that you're not opening PDFs in the browser, you might
want to try FoxIt Reader (freeware) from
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php It's much smaller and faster
than Adobe Reader.
