IE Start Page for all Users

For some reason, antispyware keeps asking me if it is OK to change the start
page for IE on all 3 accounts on my PC. I say yes every time someone logs in,
and to remember the settings, but it still asks every time. It seems like all
user account smust have the same IE start page. My 3 year old plays on the
PC, and this message always gets in his way. I'd hate to disable antispyware
app, but it is that annoying. Is there some hack to fix this? One start page
is yahoo, the other is noggin, the other is yahoo finance. Nothing crazy. The
antispyware app just does not remember the settings for each user. Very
annoying.

There is some issues with MS Antispy running on systems with multi-user
accounts so I'm not sure there is a simple way to fix this but hopefully
things will improve later this year when beta 2 is released. If its becoming
a problem you could disable the protection for preset URL's to take away
these alerts, This way all the other protection would be active and the
system would still be protected, Malware would need to download first before
it can change the start page so if the other checkpoints are enabled this
should not be possible without MS Antispyware displaying a warning alert.

To disable the URL protection, Open MS Antispyware > Goto Real Time
Protection > Click Application Agents > Click "Internet Explorer URLs" > At
the bottom of the checkpoint details on the right press "Deactivate
checkpoint. To re-enable it anytime just press Activate in the same area.

You could also change the settings of the program to allow "allowed alerts"
going in to settings (options --> settings)
select alerts from menu on the side
un-check the bottom two boxes

I have multiple user accounts and it doesn't bother me.

That sounds like an easier option than disabling the protection but I always
assumed the allowed alerts are the green pop ups showing items that are known
to be safe, I wouldn't of thought the blue pop ups asking if a change can
take place would also be disabled using this option but if that works for you
on multi accounts set with different home pages then its a safer option than
having to disable a checkpoint.

Thanks Andy
