IE so PAINFULLY SLOW!

After I upgraded my os to XP IE was flying along, as
soon as I installed the updates it's so slow I dont' even
use it. Pages open in netscape in seconds and IE will
still be loading it many minutes later. Anyone know how
to fix this??

Hi

Have you got all the updates from the win update site and
also done the ol' defrag and scan disk? I am also
presuming that if you had time to do some of the updates
that you were on the Internet a while. Have you got/used
both Adaware and Spybot. Also, just to be certain I would
suggest to run the online Norton virus check just in case
something sneaked in during the updates.
