IE shows a blank window after XP-SP2 installation, Refresh is requ

After installing SP2 on my Windows XP, I 'm no longer able to see all the
contents of my favorite Webpage.
The left part of the screen is left blank until press the REFRESH button.
After that the content is dispayed as usual.
This happens in 90% of the trys, and it seems to be a communication timeout
issue with the WEB-server? May be there is a parameter not adjusted properly?

I wonder if somebody has got the same problem and possibly found a solution
for that behaviour?

Hi Don,
its actually a page on the intranet , where you won`t get access to.
To give more details, I can add the following:
The right side of the screen shows a picture, which is alway fine.
The left part of the screen layout shows a kind of a folder hirarchy with
several links to further application processes.
Depending on the users login account the displayed links may differ from 4
up to 20 links in that window.
My account setup "normally" causes the system to dislay 10 of this
application links.
But this does not happen anymore. In most of the cases I try to login this
area is left blank....
May be the negotiation of the accessrights between server and IE Client is
taking too long for the current IE6, which has been modified by the SP2
Installation?

Yes. Relevant detail which you haven't disclosed is your cache-checking setting.

Make sure that you have Every visit... set.

I've got IE running in the German language, so the Keystrokes: Alt-T,O,Alt-S,E
aren't the same.
But I checked the settings for temporary Internet files, and the are set to:
"Search for new Versions of the page every time the IE is launched".
Security Settings are set to:
"Very Low" ...
