IE-Shortcuts on Desktop: Upon clicking, wants to start...Netscape!!

Indeed, whenever I drag with the mouse cursor specific URL's
onto my Desktop, such newly created icon wants always to start
afterwards...Netscape (if clicked upon)!!
But since Netscape has been deleted on my system (but perhaps
not all traces??), this will result in an error message ("Netscape
cannot be launched").
So could please someone tell me now how to proceed, in order
to re-establish "pure" IE shortcuts on my Desktop?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Bonjour Philippe !
Download this file and execute it.
It will set your file associations for html and htm files
to be opened with Internet Explorer...
