IE Shortcut brings me to Lycos

I used to be able to enter a web stie name i.e. "buy" and
then hit Control+Enter to be connected to www.buy.com. All
aof a sudden, I am redirected to Lycos which displays a
lsit of sites that I may want. Any thoughts?
