Hi

Thanks in advance. I use IE 6.0 (I think) and Windows
2000 for sure. My IE won't open, and I get the send MS
error report button or don't send button. When I click
either the internet page starts to open but then I get
the same message above. When I hit the technical button
it says various stuff about modules.

I have run Adware and Spybot and McAffe and have removed
spyware and some viruses. I tried to uninstall and re-
install with no luck.

Can anyone help possible over the phone since I am a
novice?

Joel,
"When I hit the technical button it says various stuff about modules"
That's the info we need to diagnose ......

The IE Error Report generates a "appcompat.txt" file.
This can usually be found in:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temp\

Paste the contents (if found) in your next message.

Once your system becomes infected there's no guarantee that it can be
"repaired".
