IE search box

Can someone tell me why the search boxes start typing
words on their own whenever I use Internet Explorer. It
does not matter if it's Google or Netscape. While I'm
typing this question I'm constantly having to delete
letters that are being typed on their own. If anyone has
a solution I would really appreciate it.
