IE rerouting to a newer site

I have setup a new windows xp profile. Under the old profile there are two
websites that I visit. Both link to the same website however one is an older
version and the other is a updated version.
When I click on the older website in my new profile it automatically
redirects to the newer one. How can I stop that from happening?

Surely you will be redirected to the newer version because the route lead to
one website which the newer update version.
Remove the older version and use the newer one, unless it's your websites or
you still need the older version fro something not any more on the newer
version?.
