ie reinstall

I had a trojan that somehow corrupted my search function
in IE6. I now need to reset everytime I want to search.
I think i can fix this by reinstalling ie6 on my XP pro.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Josie,
No reason to reinstall. Some of these parasites and hijackers would survive
the reinstall anyway.
