IE refreshes error message....

Damn stupid IE is doing the following:

1) Try access a "busy" site - get "Cannot find page error" (probably
the server timed out)
2) Hit refresh/reload to try again
3) IE refreshes the error message (#@$!)
4) Hit the "go" button and it tries again... (maybe sucessfully or not
but at least it tries to get the page again)

I thought I had managed to cure IE of this brain dead functionality,
but are recent browser crash has brought this behaviour back.

WTF does IE reload the error message page?! Totally illogical.

IE is set to try EVERY VISIT to check the page, so it isn't the brain
dead cache. There are no proxies involved at all. The "helpful" error
pages have been tried in both on & off.

When you tell it to Refresh, it refreshes whatever page you are
looking at; it's by design. Click Back, to go back to the page
you want, and then click Refresh it you still need to. If you've
set it to check every time, then just using the Back button will
do a refresh/reread, whatever word you wish to use.
