IE Problems

I'm having problems with IE. When I open it my home page appears for a second
then disappears. Also, some web pages wouldn't load I get an error window
telling me Explorer can't open the page. I've scanned the system with Adware,
but the problem persists. Any ideas?

Try a different home page to see if maybe it's a problem
with the site you are using. If the site is using Java
you may want to upgrade to Sun's JAVA 1.4.2 available at
java.sun.com. just installed the JDE you do not need the
SDK.

If all of that fails find your profile in c:\documents
and settings and rename it. Log off and back on. The
computer will build a new profile for you which you can
copy your desktop and start menu folders from the old
profile to the new profile. Typically IE settings are
based off of your HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry hive. If
these are damaged it is best to just build a new profile.
