Your question is pretty general, maybe your internet settings are set to only
goto trusted sites, maybe the websites are just blank pages, maybe you don't
have a plugin installed that is required (macromedia flash player, or java)?
Usually if you have Service Pack 2 installed, it may come up with a little 1
line message near the top of your window (below the address bar) that says
the page is stopped from showing and gives a reason why, maybe a pop-up is
blocked or plugin not installed or something like that?
