IE PopUp Windows won't open with SP2

Do you use Ad-Watch?
I had exactly the same problem and tryed hours to solve it. Finally I got
this simple solution: I set "monitoring off" for Ad-Watch and popups work
fine.

Did you ever figure out how to post a New message? I am also getting a popup
window was blocked message when trying to post a new message, but replying
seems to work.

read through the thread on this subject, finally came across your suggestion,
disabled Ad-Watch, and voila! problem solved. You made my day

Hi,

i have been having the same problem for the pat couple of months, I'm not
very good with technical stuff, can someone please advise me how to stop this
happening and how to switch off the ad watch and where to find it???

NR1: Do you have Lavasofts Ad-watch installed?
NR": If so, you should have an icon in your toolbar "lower right corner"
showng a small box with an looking glas over it.
Right click it and disable monitoring.

This will probably solv the issue with not showing java windows.

What remains to be solved is why the Lavasoft application behaves the way it
does.
